"The Mission" at Carmen Serdan, Mexico

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and keep one's self unspotted from the world. James 1:27 A river in the desert, a home for the homeless, a sanctuary for the abandoned. The Mission at Carmen Serdan is all of these and so much more. There are typically 20 "kids" that call The Mission their home. They range in age from their mid-thirties down to toddlers and each of them is living with varying degrees of disability. The Mission is currently under the direction of Carlos and Jenny Alcantara, a wonderful couple with a heart for these children and an incredible sense of purpose for overseeing the work there. The term 'sacrificial service' has been used many times in describing the lifestyle maintained at The Mission and the staff are often in much need of rejuvenation and TLC themselves. There are diapers to be changed, rooms to be cleaned, meals to be cooked and served, facilities and grounds to be maintained and repaired, livestock to be tended, games to be played, songs to be sung, souls to be nurtured, and a God to be praised for such a place as this. Women's Ministry

Terran Eckler The Women of Psalm 150 are meeting once a month over Saturday brunch to embark on a new study, "Women of the Bible." We invite you to join us as we seek God, as we pray for and encourage one another, and as we learn what it means to live as joy-filled daughters of The King. Men's Ministry

The Men of Psalm 150 meet together for our Men's Prayer Breakfast the 1st Saturday of each month at various local restaurants. This is a time set aside to invest in other mens' lives. We learn from each other by sharing our testimonies, we lift each other up and encourage each other in prayer and wise council, and we grow with each other as we study the Word of God.
